OUTSIDE THE BOX.
The apartment has been adapted as a business-residential studio. Already from the front door, a unique open space with an innovative design and partially exposed ceiling beams opens. This popular architectural intervention gives authenticity, height and visual character to the space, whether it is a historical renovation or a modern industrial style. The authentic double doors from the old apartment were retained, which here serve as a slight visual partition in a large open space, and in places the brick on the walls is exposed, which gives the space additional charm and warmth. All the exterior joinery is new (wooden on the street side and aluminum on the courtyard side). This apartment definitely offers a slightly different and experimental perspective on architectural design and is very originally adapted and often deviates from standard or expected norms in thoughtful details.
